Basement Walkout Excavation

The homeowners wanted to have access from the basement to the backyard. Here we excavated a hole to match the basement footings. We make sure it has a level base at the same height of the existing footings. Now its ready for the formers to pour some new walls.

Plywood Protection

Here we display what we do when we have to travel over finished properties. This process works in small to mid sized jobs in protecting the lawn from the heavy equipment.

Concrete Pad Preparation

Backyard Grading

The homeowner was having the earth sloping towards the building. We cut the earth down by 6-10 inches and brought in new top soil. We sloped the new surface away from the building creating a swale leading the water away from the building.

Trenching

Trench sizes can vary. Here we we’re digging 2ft by 8ft deep trench’s to drop geothermal lining in the ground.

Stump Removal

Here the owner had over 20 stumps to be removed! Here you will see the ‘Ripper’ being used. This 1.5 inch wide claw allows us to rip those stubborn rooted stumps without digging up all of you property

Land Clearing

A property owner wanted to clean up their property. Here we took down the hill full of rocks, roots and brush. Using the existing soil on site, we were able to use a power rake to clean the soil giving a nice finish ready for seed.

Concrete Pad Preparation

Here there needed to be an engineered pad. This included deeper ends for the perimeter of the pad. Here’s a look at the beautiful shed the builder built.

Gravel Driveway

Here we dug up 12 inches of soil. This driveway was built with an A-gravel base of 8 inches and topped with recycled asphalt. The roller applies 14,000 lbs of compaction giving the final project a very strong finish.

Excavation

The homeowner here was looking to put an addition on his house. We dug out the needed room for the formers to do their work and then we will be back to backfill.

Gravel Driveway

Loose Gravel Driveway

Here we did a loose gravel driveway. We had a customer who loved the loose gravel look so we used crushed up black granite. You can’t tell in this image but we put fabric clothe under all the stones. We did this to help prevent any weeds from growing up through the gravel.

Client Testimonials

"Mark and his team did a great job on our new landscaping project. They dug out and prepared new flower beds for planting, prepared sidewalks for flagstones, and helped with drainage issues on the driveway. Their expertise and attention to detail are just what we needed so we could do the next steps of the project ourselves. I would highly recommend this business for any exterior work!"
